ELECTROLYSIS

            Electrolysis is extremely useful for permanently removing unwanted white, blonde, and gray hairs, which laser devices are not able to treat.  Electrolysis used to be the standard of care in the treatment of hair of all colors, but laser devices disrupted the industry because of their ability to treat brown and black hairs so much more efficiently than electrolysis.  The number of schools that teach electrolysis in New Jersey has diminished, and the number of dermatologists in the state who provide the service has diminished too.
 

            Electrolysis deserves a continued place in dermatology practices because laser devices cannot treat white, blonde, and gray hairs.  We are excited to announce that patients with this problem can now seek electrolysis services at Randolph Dermatology.
